Mcdonalds Nutrition Information: Why I Ignore Mcdonalds Prices Or Mcdonalds Nutrition Information
I think I know exactly why people in all walks of life are wanting to reveal the truth about mcdonalds nutrition, regardless of how high or low are mcdonalds menu prices. Just the other day I went to lunch with a co-worker from the office I work at. He is a graphic artist and I am a curriculum designer. I have been undergoing this nagging feeling that I should make some efforts at building relationships with people. And I am talking about getting to know people more at friends. Because normally I do not go out to lunch, much less with men or women I work with. But that is how I ended up talking with a colleague about healthy eating, which made me think of mcdonalds nutrition information.
So we decide to go to a latino type of restaurant, something like cafe rio. After we order our food (I get two fish tacos with side orders of rice and beans- she asked if I wanted black beans or pinto i think it was; I went with the black beans), my artist cohort tells me that he has been intaking nothing but vegan which he started some months back. One funny thing he said was that he was not accustomed to eating lettuce because he never really ate salads. So once he started eating nothing but fruits and vegetables, he began eating salads. But his system was not used to it and every time after a while of eating so many salads it made him sick to his stomach and he would throw up.
I asked him if he has noticed a difference in how he has felt since changing his diet that way. However, he said that it was not a huge change because it was not terribly different from before. He did say that it was difficult to maintain a diet of no meat when eating out because almost all the eateries in our college town are all about some kind of meat based staples. I realized I agreed with him when I went out for lunch yesterday and came upon mcdonalds and burger king. I did not want to eat at mcdonalds but I was tempted to stop for burger king’s quarter pound double cheese for a buck. See, I have always liked the whopper much better than any mcdonalds sandwich. But I resisted because I want to stay away from meat that comes from the terrible meat factories and I do not want to support such treatment of animals.
So after hearing my wife talk about all the chemicals and hormones and stuff they put into the cattle, I really do not want to be eating any hamburger at all. I especially want to avoid the fast food places that sell burgers for so cheaply which is the primary factor behind the terrible treatment of the animals. That is the real reason why I do not care so much about mcdonalds nutrition information.
